Synopsis
Mirai Asahina is going to be in eighth grade soon. One night during spring break, a mysterious person falls from the sky, landing in the park nearby. Mirai gets excited thinking it might be a witch, and goes to check it out the next morning, bringing her favorite plush toy, Mofflun, along with her. And then right before her very eyes...the girl flies away on her broom again...! The girl named Rico really is a witch!! Mirai is very interested in witches and asks her lots of questions. It seems that Rico has come to her world looking for something. And the two of them both have pendants that look very similar... Just then, the evil wizard Docloxy's partner Batty appears before them! He approaches Rico demanding she hand over the Linkle Stone Emerald, but that's the same thing Rico is looking for... Batty uses his black magic to make a monster called a Yokbar to chase them. Mirai, Rico, and Mofflun link hands and shout the magic words, "Cure Up Lapapa!", and their pendants start to glow. And the legendary witches called Precure all born!!
Mirai Asahina (朝比奈みらい) / Cure Miracle
A girl entering eighth grade. An energetic girl who loves intriguing and mysterious things, and is interested in all kinds of different topics. Since becoming a Precure, she's started attending magic school. She looks up to Rico with her clear goals, and begins studying magic with her. Catchphrases are "So exciting!" Today, they have to use a magic kettle to make tea. All you have to do to get the water to boil in the kettle is wave your wand; it sounds very easy to use. But the teacher is taking them to the snowy Island of Ice! There's no way they can get the water to boil on the freezing island... But still, Mirai and Rico try their best and wave their wands anyway. Then Mirai invites everyone to join in! What could she be up to?!

Just then, Cathy in the crystal ball tells them that the headmaster is on Lukewarm Island, the island in Magic World closest to the sun! Now that they're all grown up, they go to the park to enjoy strawberry melon buns and catch up. Then, to get everyone in the mood they were before, Haa transforms into how she was when everyone discovered magic. It's nostalgic and so exciting! Just then, a monster similar to Docloxy named Doclomsey appears. He consumes their sweets and Haa's wand. They chase after him to get it back. Will they be able to retrieve it?! And moreover, they run into a mysterious girl...!
